States continue to seek blame for NSP2 implementation

The United States can’t get complacent about the Nord Stream 2 pipeline and continues to look for those who could be sent under sanctions

Thus, Washington is checking several companies that may be linked to NSP2 in order to impose restrictive measures on them. US ambassador to Russia John Sullivan said this in a conversation with Interfax, Interfax-Ukraine reported.

“As for the sanctions, we continue to check some organizations whose activities may fall under the sanctions legislation. This is a matter of law in the United States. The administration is still doing it and is obliged to do it by law”, –  he said.

That is, when asked whether the U.S. will continue to interfere with the work of the project, the diplomat essentially answered in the affirmative. According to him, the authorities will continue applying the Energy Security of Europe Act to try to disrupt the work of the companies connected with the pipeline.
