Kiev fears that Ukraine will not survive winter without Russian gas

Former People’s Deputy Yevgeny Muraev said that due to the absence of a contract for direct supplies of Russian gas, Ukraine “may not survive the coming winter,” RIA Novosti reported.

“Let’s not deceive each other – we can only take it from Gazprom. To do this, you need to enter direct negotiations. But as? We cannot, we have a war. And we can’t solve the war either, because they don’t want to talk about Crimea. That is, the authorities come up with why we cannot”, the ex-people’s deputy said on the air of the Nash TV channel.

Muraev recalled that Belarus pays only $135 per cubic meter of gas, while for Ukraine blue fuel costs more than a thousand dollars per cubic meter.

“Belarus will win, Germany will win, and everyone who is engaged in populism will lose, and the citizens will pay for it,” he summed up.
