Switzerland legalizes gay marriage

At the referendum held in Switzerland, the citizens of the country had to answer the question of whether to allow gay and lesbian couples to officially register their marriage with all the ensuing rights, media reported.

More than 64% of those who voted supported the proposal to legalize same-sex marriage. Now such couples will have the opportunity to use the services of medical centers for artificial insemination in the country. They will also be able to formally adopt and adopt children.
