Vucic tells NATO secretary general about the occupation of northern Kosovo by Pristina special forces

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has talked to NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg by telephone and discussed the situation in northern Kosovo and Metohija

The Serbian leader said that Pristina special forces have been occupying the northern part of the region for a week now, “under the thunderous silence” of the international community.

“For seven days, Pristina’s total occupation of northern Kosovo and Metohija by military vehicles has been continuing. And everyone in the international community is ‘vociferously silent’. It is true that everyone is sometimes worried when Serbian helicopters and planes are seen in the territory of central Serbia, because, apparently, they should not exist or take off without the approval of Kurti and the international community”, –  Vucic said.

He pointed out that for his part Serbia has been fulfilling all its international obligations. He now expects that the Special Forces will soon be withdrawn from the administrative line, when the Community of Serb Municipalities will be formed.
