Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said that a US-initiated “summit of democracies” will push the global community into division, he said during a general political discussion held on the sidelines of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly in New York

During the discussion, the Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry also noted the lack of agreement among the leading powers on the basic principles of the world order.
