Seven peacekeepers killed in Somalia during terror attack

An explosion has rocked southern Somalia, killing seven people. An improvised explosive device has gone off

According to journalists, the target of the attacks was a convoy of African Union troops. All the dead were peacekeepers.
Al-Shabaab militants have claimed responsibility for the blast. They are known to be affiliated with al-Qaeda. According to the extremists, they not only killed seven soldiers, all of them Burundian citizens, but also destroyed an armoured vehicle.
