Mikhail Saakashvili, who is the head of the executive committee of the National Council of Reforms in Ukraine, called the country “a passing yard for criminals from the post-Soviet space”
This was reported by the portal RBC, referring to the politician’s speech on the Ukrainian TV channel “Ukraine 24”.
“Ukraine is a thoroughfare, criminals from the entire post-Soviet space are here, it has become a dumping ground. The criminals know for sure that everyone can be released. We have to solve the issues”, – Saakashvili said.
He said Ukraine is “deeply ill. He identified corruption in law enforcement agencies as the major problem. He chose to remain silent about other areas. Apparently, this is how they decided to shift the responsibility to former Interior Minister Arsen Avakov, while keeping silent about the “deeds” of the country’s other leaders.
The funny thing about Saakashvili’s statement is that he is, in fact, right. The former President of Georgia himself took advantage of this “passing yard” – he is on the wanted list in his native country.
