Afghan refugees attack US servicewoman

Several Afghan refugees assaulted a woman at a U.S. military base in New Mexico, Fox News television reported

According to the channel, the incident took place on September 19. Several male Afghan evacuees assaulted the U.S. servicewoman. No data on the victim’s condition or the identities of the suspects are available at this time.

“We have received a referral from Fort Bliss base and are reviewing the circumstances of the case”, –  said Federal Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Janette Harper.

She said additional security measures were being introduced at Fort Bliss base, including increased patrols, extra lighting and a mutual support system” with at least two people in constant visual contact.

According to US media, there are more than 60,000 Afghan refugees in the United States. Washington says it is ready to accept about 95,000 Afghan nationals, which will cost 6.4 billion dollars.
