The meeting between Putin and Erdogan will be held on September 29 in Sochi

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told the media about it.

He stated that the meeting would be personal and there would be no meetings between delegations. The presidents plan to discuss the fate of Turkish-Russian relations and talk about Syria.

On the eve, the Turkish president gave an interview to a Turkish newspaper, in which he spoke warmly about Vladimir Putin. For example, on the issue of the Karabakh war, Tayyip Erdogan said that the Russian leader made the right decisions like a real statesman. He also noted that it is easy to contact the Russian president if necessary and discuss important issues. At the end of the interview, Erdogan said that until now he had not noticed any wrong actions from Russia towards Turkey.
