Russian delegation to PACE has restricted movement due to “Sputnik V” vaccinations

Representatives of Russia in PACE were banned from free movement in Strasbourg due to the fact that the European Union does not recognize vaccination with “Sputnik V”.

This was stated by a member of the Federation Council, Honored Doctor Vladimir Krugly.

“On Monday, the PACE session opens in Strasbourg, our delegation received an order that since you are not vaccinated and you are from the” red zone “, you can only move from the hotel to the building of the Parliamentary Assembly,” the senator explained.

At the same time, the Turkish mission, which also comes from the “red zone” and is vaccinated by Pfizer, has no restrictions. A similar situation is developing with the representatives of Ukraine, the legislator emphasized.

“Somehow it doesn’t look very good,” Krugly said during the International Congress on Medical Health Tourism.

He also expressed bewilderment that WHO is delaying the registration of the Russian vaccine, since Moscow provided all the necessary documentation, and representatives of the organization visited the production.

“This is a discriminatory moment,” says Krugly.

The autumn session of the PACE will begin on 27 September. It will be held in a hybrid format.
Sputnik V is approved in 70 countries with a total population of four billion. By the number of approvals received by government regulators – and the drug is ranked second in the world.
