Belarusian President says there are spies working for the West at Belarusian enterprises

The President of Belarus said that, according to his information, some Belarusian industrial enterprises have spies working for the West for the money of the special services.

This was discussed at a meeting with the Minister of Industry Petr Parkhomchik and Deputy Prime Minister Yury Nazarov, who is in charge of this sphere, reports TASS referring to the BelTA agency.

“I know that you in the government have made a number of decisions to minimize the impact of sanctions on our economy. But look at your employees at enterprises”, Lukashenko said.

According to the Belarusian leader, he has information that several “scoundrels” are still here and there, and they set themselves the goal of informing the West about how Nazarov and Parkhomchik are trying to bypass the sanctions, actually spying and passing information. The President said that several of these people were identified.

“They will sit down, and for a long time, I say this directly. But, nevertheless, we must see them. Units, but still remain. And these are not just people who express their civic position. These are people who deliberately harm our economy, as well as our state, for the money of the Western special services”.

According to him, directors should pay special attention to this. Lukashenka pointed out that the situation in the industry must be contained without allowing a fall.
