Turkish President Recep Erdogan intends to visit Russia before the end of September and meet with Russian leader Vladimir Putin
This is reported by TASS, citing the office of the Turkish head of state. The visit is due to take place in Sochi on September 29.
“Our president is expected to go on a one-day visit to Russia (the city of Sochi) on September 29, 2021”, – the statement said.
Earlier, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov spoke about preparations for Erdogan’s visit. According to him, the leaders will discuss bilateral relations, Syria and other regional conflicts.
In addition, in August, Erdogan also spoke about a trip to Russia and shared plans to discuss the purchase of a second regiment of S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems during this visit.
