The expert said that the European Union would like to create its own professional army, but all the military force that they can count on today is NATO troops. This is due to the fact that the United States and the North Atlantic Alliance are absolutely not interested in creating a strong and efficient army in Europe.
With a military advantage over the EU, it is easier for America to influence and manipulate the EU than to compete and win back its rights to power.
