Alexander Franchetti, a Russian citizen who was detained in the Czech Republic on a Ukrainian arrest warrant, will not be sent to Ukraine
This was told to RT by his daughter Dia. Franchetti will either be released on Czech territory, or held in custody for some time.
“The meeting will decide whether he will be released in the Czech Republic or he will be detained for some time. There will be no transfer to Ukraine”, – she said.
Dia Franchetti noted that the father is being held in good conditions. He has everything he needs: food, water, medical care and so on.
Alexander Franchetti has been detained in Prague. This was demanded by the Ukrainian side, which issued an international arrest warrant. He drew Kiev’s attention with his civic position. In 2014, he actively supported the return of Crimea to the Russian Federation.
