Crimea responded to Kiev’s plans to involve the United States in the return of the peninsula

Earlier, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that Washington would begin to play an important role in helping Kiev in matters of the Donbass and the Crimea.

The head of the working group on international legal issues at the permanent representation of the republic, Alexander Molokhov, told RIA Novosti that the peninsula is Russian forever and no country in the world can change this.

“Such statements are most reminiscent of the words of Ostap Bender, uttered by him at the well-known meeting of the “Union of Sword and Plowshare” that “countires abroad will help us”. It is time for the Kiev authorities to learn once and for all that Crimea is Russian forever and that no country in the world can change this. So let them not rely in vain on the help of their overseas masters”, said Molokhov.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov said that the visit of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to the United States, as well as close contacts between the presidents of the two countries, showed that Washington will begin to play an important role in helping Kiev in matters of Donbass and Crimea.
