The Taliban* denies reports that secret documents and computers were taken from Kabul on Pakistani planes delivering humanitarian aid, a source told RIA Novosti on the move.
Earlier, Pakistan sent planes with humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
“This is propaganda. Pakistani planes delivered aid to Kandahar, Balkh and Kabul and returned empty,” the source said.
The Taliban stepped up their offensive against government forces a month ago, entered Kabul on August 15 and announced the next day that the war was over. On the night of August 31, the US military left the Kabul airport, ending the nearly 20-year US military presence in Afghanistan. On September 6, the Taliban announced that Panjshir, the last of 34 Afghan provinces, had come under their control. The next day, the composition of the interim government of Afghanistan was announced. It will be headed by Mohammad Hasan Akhund, who served as foreign minister during the first Taliban* and is under UN sanctions.
