Members of the Taliban*, who seized power in Afghanistan, killed the brother of the country’s former vice-president, Amrullah Saleh.
The death of Ruhollu Azizi was reported by Korrespondent, citing the Afghan Aamaj News agency. Local journalists got this information from their sources.
According to preliminary data, Azizi was detained last night. Then he was shot. However, a resident of the non-Taliban * province of Panjshir claims that he passed away a few days ago. Azizi took part in the fight against the Taliban and was killed in action.
Amrullah Saleh himself left the territory of Afghanistan. He was in the Panjshir province, free from the Taliban, and then from there he crossed over to the territory of Tajikistan. At the same time, after the escape of President Ashraf Ghani, he personally appointed himself acting head of state.
