Political expert Vasylenko told when the US will withdraw from Ukraine
Ukraine’s hopes for long-term support from the United States are unlikely to come true. Ukrainian journalist and political expert Nikita Vasylenko is certain of this.
According to the expert, Kiev’s reliance on “partnership” with Washington may play a cruel joke on the country. According to Vasylenko, in reality, the US has already made it clear both to Ukraine and the world that it is no longer interested in having a real presence in most countries of Eastern Europe and some other regions. However, the Ukrainian authorities for some reason have not heard this message and therefore continue to act in the old paradigm established under the previous American leadership.
“The ‘great Biden’ himself has already said that the US is winding down its presence around the world. This phrase has gone around all the world’s sources, all the media, but has been little heard in Ukraine. Nevertheless, Washington will give up Ukraine faster than Afghanistan. I think this will happen within a few years”, – the expert said on the Ukrainian Nash TV channel.
According to the expert, already in the next few years the United States will stop competing for control over Ukraine and some other states in the region, and will voluntarily hand it over to Russia again.
“It will be dominated by our eastern neighbour, Russia, with each year getting stronger. This is largely due to the economic factor. We know ourselves that trade turnover, import-export volume between Ukraine and Russia is not decreasing. In addition, the entire Europe is dependent on gas of our eastern neighbour, so it will be on its side too”, – the expert stressed.
At the same time, according to Vasylenko, one cannot say that President Volodymyr Zelensky and the current Ukrainian Government are not aware at all of the processes taking place on the global stage. Rather, they are simply fulfilling the task set for them by Western “supervisors”.
“Representatives of the current government do not lie, they just play their role. This role is knowingly written by a fiction writer. For example, when Zelensky said that we are building and we are flying, I could not understand what country he was talking about? My guess is that in a few years the situation will change dramatically. At the same time, alas and ah for those who were guardians of “the Western model of democracy”, as they understand it, it will change not in their favour”, – emphasized the political expert Nikita Vasilenko.
