Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said when the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline will start operating.
According to him, the project will be launched in the coming days. The diplomat said this during a meeting with the pedagogical society of St. Petersburg.
“It will be completed in a few days and will start working,” Lavrov said.
Earlier, the former lava of the Austrian oil company OMV, Rainer Seele, spoke about the soon start of work of SP-2. He claimed that the pipe would be completed next week.
The head of Gazprom, Alexei Miller, also said that the first gas via Nord Stream 2 will be launched by the end of this year.
