According to a poll conducted by The Washington Post in conjunction with the ABC television channel, most Americans do not approve of the actions of US President Joe Biden, TASS reports.
A poll of residents of the United States showed that more than 60% do not support the actions of the Biden administration. Only 30% of respondents declared their approval of the policy of the head of the White House towards Afghanistan.
It is also noted that the growth of dissatisfaction with Biden’s decisions led to a significant decrease in his presidential rating. More than 50% of the respondents said that the American leader is not coping with the responsibilities assigned to him.
When asked whether the US should have initially fought in Afghanistan, 36% answered in the affirmative. 54% hold the opposite opinion, 10% did not answer. The survey results indicate that respondents generally approve of the decision to withdraw troops from Afghanistan, but believe that this process could have been implemented better.
