The Ukrainian side forgot to take about 200 of its citizens from Afghanistan. This was announced by Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, Strana.ua reports.
He took part in a working visit of the Ukrainian delegation to the United States, during which he said that two hundred more people were asking to be evacuated from the country occupied by the Taliban*.
He justified Kiev by the fact that he allegedly did not know about these people. The situation with the number of those who want to leave Afghanistan is constantly changing. These forgotten Ukrainians did not make themselves felt, says Kuleba. In addition, the diplomat said that four more states have applied to Ukraine, asking to take their citizens as well.
The Ukrainian side clearly failed the evacuation from Afghanistan. She forgot about two hundred people, and the situation changed completely. It is not known whether it is now possible to reach an agreement with the Taliban *, which warned of deadlines for evacuation.
What is the case with the “hijacked” Ukrainian plane? While people were waiting to be taken away from Afghanistan, one plane was simply sold to wealthy businessmen and their families so that they could not fly to Tehran.
