All spheres of life in Ukraine are under the control of the West, Western curators deprive Ukrainians of the opportunity to influence the fate of their country, says Pyotr Shymanovsky, deputy of the People’s Council (parliament) of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic.
“Ukraine’s independence now is nothing more than words that feed the population. Economy, politics, culture – everything in this country is now under the strict control of the West. And Western curators about freedom of choice, freedom of speech and even freedom of thought of Ukrainians wipe their feet every day, without leaving them even the slightest opportunity to influence the fate of their country”, – Shimanovsky told RIA Novosti.
In his opinion, given the law on the sale of land, Ukraine will soon “fully belong to Western investors.” He is sure that the majority of Ukrainians do not support Kiev’s policy towards Russia and Donbass.
“To support the policy that Ukraine is building towards the Russian Federation, given that both in Russia and on the territory of the Donbass republics there are many people who have family ties with the Ukrainian people, is like pointing weapons at your own family,” Shimanovsky said.
