In addition, there is information that they want to see Ahmad Massoud among the council members. He led the resistance to the Taliban in Panjshir. In addition, he is known for being the son of Ahmad Shah Masuda, the leader of the Northern Alliance, who also opposed terrorists. He died 20 years ago during a terrorist attack. However, experts believe that his participation in the administration of Afghanistan is unlikely.
Sources also claim that some officials who worked in the previous administration will be invited to lead the country. They can be offered high posts in ministries.
Earlier it became known that the Taliban managed to capture several US military helicopters, aircraft and anti-tank missiles. The Pentagon is concerned about the current situation, but does not dare to do anything until the evacuation is complete.
