Former US president Donald Trump has addressed his successor Joe Biden and advised him to apologise for withdrawing from Afghanistan
He criticised the head of state for withdrawing the army before civilians had time to leave the dangerous territory, TASS reported, citing Trump’s statement.
“Joe Biden owes America an apology for allowing troops to leave the country before civilians left and for allowing $85 billion worth of military equipment to fall into the hands of Taliban”, – he said.
In addition, Trump said if the withdrawal had been handled by his administration, it would not have ended in disaster in Afghanistan.
The Taliban are in control of the country. Earlier, News Front reported that representatives of the movement have announced plans to present a new system of governance in Afghanistan in the near future.
