UK imposes sanctions against seven Russian FSB officers

The British authorities have imposed sanctions against seven officers of the Russian Federal Security Service, who are considered involved in the incident with Alexei Navalny

This is stated in the UK Foreign Office’s sanctions list distributed on Friday.

It notes that Alexei Sedov, head of the Russian Federal Security Service’s Service for the Protection of Constitutional Order and the Fight against Terrorism, Kirill Vasilyev, director of the Russian Federal Security Service’s Criminalistics Institute, Stanislav Makshakov, an employee of the FSB Criminalistics Institute, Vladimir Bogdanov, head of the FSB Special Technology Centre, FSB officers Alexei Aleksandrov, Ivan Spiridonov and Vladimir Panyaev have been hit by restrictive measures that include freezing bank accounts and a ban on entry into the country.
