There have been reports in Western media that the Taliban* have a lot of people they want to punish.
As the channel 112 Ukraine writes with reference to The New York Times, a secret UN document says that the Taliban are stepping up the search for people who, in their opinion, worked with US and NATO forces, including among the crowd at the Kabul airport.
“According to a confidential United Nations document, Taliban fighters are stepping up their search for people they believe were working with US and NATO forces, including among a crowd of Afghans at the Kabul airport, and have threatened to kill or detain their family members if they will not be able to find them”, the newspaper writes.
A document seen by the NYT from a UN threat assessment adviser says there are several reports that the Taliban have a list of people they want to interrogate and punish.
