At least 17 people were injured in a stampede near the gates of an airport in Afghan Kabul, media reported Wednesday, citing a NATO spokesman.

According to the agency, a spokesman for the alliance said that civilians are urged to stop gathering at the airport if they do not have a passport and visa. The interlocutor of the agency clarified that there were no reports of violence by the Taliban outside the Kabul airport.
