US accused Russia, China and Iran of spreading fakes about coronavirus

The US Department of Homeland Security (IDB) said that the media, which are allegedly connected with the authorities of the Russian Federation, China and Iran, are spreading false information about coronavirus infection and vaccines, TASS reports.

“[US] adversary states have stepped up their efforts to sow discord. For example, media affiliated with the Russian, Chinese and Iranian authorities have repeatedly disseminated conspiracy theories about the origin of COVID-19 and the effectiveness of vaccines, in some cases reinforcing calls for violence against people of Asian descent”, the agency said in a statement posted on the website.

It is noteworthy that the statement does not provide any evidence of this version. Earlier, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow does not take part in information campaigns against foreign vaccines against coronavirus and all accusations on this topic are “complete absurdity”.
