Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov commented on the loud statements of the United States that the victory of the Taliban * in Afghanistan has not yet been resolved.
“It is clear that the Americans have no choice but to try to justify their defeat and rapid withdrawal from Afghanistan,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Washington can assert whatever it wants, but the failure of American policy in Afghanistan and abroad is already evident as a whole. He set himself the task of implanting “democracy” in the Near and Middle East, which was not crowned with success. It only exacerbated an already difficult situation.
“Complete disaster is the result of this course. The events in Afghanistan are another confirmation of this”, summed up Pushkov.
The Taliban already control most of the country. Moreover, they began to take over the media. The militants renamed the radio station “Voice of Sharia”, which is located in one of the largest cities in Afghanistan – Kandahar.
