Taliban fighters have left the Afghan capital Kabul without electricity. The terrorists are only 50 kilometres from the city
Сiting a statement by Luca Lo Presti, a resident of the Italian humanitarian organization Pangea. It operates in Afghan territory.
“We are very worried because the Taliban are 50 kilometres from Kabul. This morning they cut the electricity cables, the city is almost isolated”, – he shared.
Lo Presti added that his staff have been left without communication. He also could not say exactly what was happening in Kabul now. However, he said with certainty that the Taliban would capture the city sooner or later.
News Front had earlier reported that the militants had taken control of three administrative centres. The provincial capitals of Ghor Fazel, Badghis and Pul-i-Alim have fallen into their hands.
