The Taliban* left the Afghan capital, Kabul, without electricity. The terrorists are located just 50 kilometers from the city.
This was reported by RIA Novosti, referring to the statement of the resident of the Italian humanitarian organization Pangea Luca Lo Presti. She works on Afghan territory.
“We are very worried because the Taliban are located 50 kilometers from Kabul. This morning, they cut the cables with the light, the city was almost isolated”, he said.
Lo Presti added that his staff were left without contact. He also cannot say for sure what is happening now in Kabul. However, he said with confidence that the Taliban would seize the city sooner or later.
News Front previously reported that the militants took control of three administrative centers. In their hands were the capitals of the provinces of Mount Fazel, Badghis and Puli-Alim.
