Pfizer and Moderna vaccines have been found to have new side effects

The EU is studying the cases of allergic reactions to the drugs, as well as kidney problems after vaccination

According to Reuters, the European Union is testing possible new side effects of mRNA vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna. In particular, a small number of those vaccinated have complained of three new side-effects:

erythema multiforme, a form of allergic reaction in the skin,

glomerulonephritis – inflammation of the kidneys,

nephrotic syndrome – damage to the kidneys characterised by a severe loss of protein in the urine.

For its part, the European Medicines Agency will investigate the new reactions to determine whether these are indeed side-effects of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
