US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said Russia and China “both publicly and privately” are convincing other countries that the United States is in decline.
The State Department spokesman called on the American authorities to take certain actions so as not to lose global leadership. According to him, Russia and China are convincing other countries of the advantages of an “authoritarian vision of the world” over the “democratic” approach of the United States.
“We are able to remind them and remind them, one measure after another, that we have more than enough strength,” Blinken said, quoted by RIA Novosti.
At the same time, the Secretary of State noted that the United States has worsened its achievements in the quality of infrastructure and in the volume of investment in innovation in proportion to GNP (gross national product). He called on the country’s authorities to pay special attention to this issue.
