Lukashenko firmly rejects accusations of dictatorship

Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko responded to allegations of dictatorship during the press conference “Big talk with the president,” BelTA informs

Lukashenko says that in order to dictate in the world, one must have appropriate resources, which Belarus lacks. According to him, all the possibilities of the republic should be aimed at preserving the independent state.

“We don’t have that resource. That is why I do not dictate anything to anyone and I am not going to. All the resources I have are to ensure the safety and security of the sovereign and independent state that has been created for the first time in centuries. I have no desire and possibilities to spend resources on the rest”, –  said the Belarusian President.

As reported earlier by News Front, Lukashenko has ordered security forces to close “every meter of the border” for the residents of the country to feel secure, as “an extremely dangerous situation” with illegal migrants is developing on the Lithuanian-Belarusian border.
