Kiev hopes Washington will increase military aid to a billion dollars

Washington spends US$750 billion annually on military aid for Kiev. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine

Diplomats have shared plans to “push” the states and increase this amount to a billion US dollars. Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said on the air of the TV channel Ukraine 24 that this plan is quite possible to implement.

“That is, we have almost reached the one billion mark. To reach one billion is absolutely realistic. There is such a task, we are working on it. And we will work with Congress first of all, because it is Congress that allocates money for US foreign policy”, –  the minister said.

He bases his hopes on the fact that every year the United States increases the amount of military support. Thus, he hopes that it will increase by a third in the near future.

Earlier, News Front reported that Kuleba demanded that the West recognise Ukraine as its part. According to the head of the Foreign Ministry, it should accelerate the process of joining NATO.
