The United States transfers 40 ISIS fighters to a base in Hasakeh province

US troops have transferred 40 supporters of the Islamic State terrorist group to a US military-controlled base in Syria’s al-Shaddadi

This was reported by the Syrian news agency SANA on Friday.

According to its reports, the terrorists, which included an ISIS “spy team leader” and an “explosives production specialist”, were moved to the said military base from prisons. It is alleged that Washington plans to use them “to carry out its plans in the region”.

The agency notes that over the past few months, “dozens” of ISIS supporters have been moved from SDF prisons in Hasakeh province to US-controlled areas. It stresses that the terrorists “have been armed and provided with logistical support to carry out terrorist attacks that could target populated areas, Syrian army positions and infrastructure”.
