Ukraine proposed to extend sanctions against nine Russian publishing houses

The State Committee of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting (Goskomteleradio) demanded to extend the sanctions of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) against nine Russian publishing houses for publishing “anti-Ukrainian literature.”

“According to the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the sanctions were applied to 9 Russian publishing houses, the most distinguished in publishing anti-Ukrainian literature. Since then, for the publishing houses “Eksmo”, “AST”, “Peter”, “Tsentrpoligraf”, “Yauza”, “Yauza-press”, “Algorithm”, “Book World” and “Veche” there are no legal ways to enter the Ukrainian market. exist. Since, after the application of the sanctions, these publishers continue to produce publications with anti-Ukrainian content, the State Television and Radio Committee intends to initiate an extension of the sanctions, which will expire in March 2022”, the ministry’s press service said.

In addition, nine Russian authors are included in the “black list”: V. Sakharov, L. Vershinin, A. Shirokorad, A. Tereshchenko, N. Polikarpov, R. Ishchenko, A. Tamonikov, as well as A. Dugin and S. Prilepin.
