Political expert, chairman of the Union of Political Emigrants and Political Prisoners of Ukraine Larisa Shesler on her Facebook page criticized the statement of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, who invited the residents of Crimea and Donbass to leave their homes and go to Russia.
“Zelensky’s thesis that if you like Russia, you need to leave for Russia, is frankly fascist. In fact, he says, if you feel like Russian, then you have nothing to do in Ukraine. This thesis is actually more vile than the one that Russians faced in Central Asia or Moldova, where they openly declared at rallies: “Suitcase, station, Russia!” – Shesler noted.
The expert recalled that the Russians “did not come to Odessa, Kiev or Kharkov, but built Kiev, Odessa, Kharkov, Nikolaev, Zaporozhye and mastered the vast expanse of the Wild Field, the southern steppes, the Black Sea region and Slobozhanshchina”.
“And our ancestors defended these lands and cities, upholding faith and identity. And the ancestors and ideologists of today’s “patriots” betrayed this land, surrendered it to the Swedes, Turks, Poles, and Hitlerites. And now the descendants of the traitors want to expel the descendants of those who developed our land and built our cities”, concluded Larisa Shesler.
