According to TASS, the results of a poll by the Kiev International Institute of Sociology (KIIS), conducted from July 24 to August 1, indicate that more than half of Ukrainians do not approve of the activities of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, more than 40% are in favor of early presidential elections.

“The share of those who disapprove of the activities of President Volodymyr Zelensky has grown from 52.7% in June to 56.1%. At the same time, the share of those who approve of his activities decreased from 34.1% to 29.3%”, says the survey materials published on Wednesday on the KIIS website.

The results of the study also showed that 43.2% of the respondents support the holding of early presidential elections, 48.7% support the holding of early parliamentary elections. Survey participants noted a deterioration in living standards over the past year.

“According to subjective feelings, 47.6% of respondents believe that compared to the summer of 2020, their families are now living worse,” the materials say. In addition, 68.7% of Ukrainians said that things in the country were going in the wrong direction. Only 16.1% expressed the opposite point of view.

Among the main problems, the respondents named the armed conflict in Donbass, corruption, unemployment and utility tariffs.
