President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed the former Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK Natalia Galibarenko as the head of Ukraine’s mission to NATO.
The corresponding decree of July 30 is posted on the website of the head of state,
The post of head of Ukraine’s mission to NATO has been vacant since August 2019.
Recently, the full-fledged head of Ukraine’s mission to NATO was Vadym Prystaiko, who in 2019 first became deputy head of the presidential administration and then foreign minister.
After him, the duties of the head of the mission were performed by Alexey Selin. In 2020, acting Georgy Tolkachev became the head of the Ukrainian mission to NATO.
On July 20, 2020, Zelensky dismissed Natalia Galibarenko from the post of Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK and appointed Vadim Prystaiko to this post.
Galibarenko was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland by Petro Poroshenko in August 2015.
