NATO countries are committing provocative actions against Belarus in order to discredit the country in the international arena, said Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin.

“There is a high level of activity in the use of unmanned aerial vehicles by the border service and units of the armed forces of neighboring countries. These events can be an integral part of the preparation of provocative actions in the border areas in order to create new informational reasons for discrediting Belarus in the international arena”, BelTA quotes Khrenin.
According to him, the military-political situation around the country remains difficult.
He noted that Western countries are also putting pressure on Belarus in the political, informational and economic spheres.
Earlier, the chairman of the State Security Committee of Belarus, Ivan Tertel, said that the country is actually at the stage of repelling the hybrid aggression of the collective West.
