The press service of the office of the President of Ukraine said that the head of state Volodymyr Zelensky and his American counterpart Joe Biden will sign three documents during the visit of the Ukrainian leader to Washington.
“Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration Roman Mashovets discussed with the Army and Defense Attaché Brittany Stewart, as well as other employees of the US Embassy in Ukraine, the program of President Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit to Washington. The parties discussed the completion of the elaboration of three bilateral documents to be signed by the leaders of the two states”, the Zelensky office said.
It is noted that we are talking about documents on defense partnership, projects in the field of research, development, testing and evaluation, as well as cooperation between Washington and Kiev in the space industry.
The talks between Zelensky and Biden will take place on August 30 in Washington. White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said that the American president during the meeting “will reaffirm Kiev’s unwavering support in resisting Russian aggression”.
