The United States is not completely withdrawing from Iraq, said Bayan Sami Abdul Rahman, Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) representative to the United States
“Are we concerned about the withdrawal of U.S. troops? Well, the U.S. is not talking about a complete withdrawal in terms of, you know, removing everything with a vacuum cleaner from Iraq. What we’re hearing is that the mission will be noncombat advisory and training in nature”, – the diplomat said.
Bayan Sami Abdul Rahman added that coalition troops and U.S. troops are in Iraq to help fight ISIL* (an organization banned in Russia), and it is necessary assistance.
