Another 112 terrorists were wounded, the country’s Defence Ministry said
The Afghan Defence Ministry said on its Twitter page on Tuesday that the Afghan National Defence and Security Forces (ANSF) had killed 187 Taliban (banned in Russia) militants in the last 24 hours, with 112 more wounded.
“According to the agency, Afghan forces “conducted combat operations in Kunar, Logar, Ghazni, Khost, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Faryab, Balkh, Jawzjan, Samangan, Helmand, Takhar, Kunduz, Baghlan and Kapisa provinces in the past day”, – the report said.
Meanwhile, Tolo News TV channel, quoting a police spokesman, reported that four members of Afghan security forces were killed in clashes with Taliban in Kapisa province. According to the channel, two members of the security forces were wounded. Twenty-five Taliban have been killed in the clashes.
