The head of the National Values Foundation, Maxim Shugaley, has said that the US could take advantage of the political crisis in Tunisia and this would lead to a total loss of the state’s sovereignty
According to Shugaley, any unrest in the North African country plays a huge role for the entire Middle East. He also expressed hope that the events will not lead to a serious armed confrontation, reports PolitRussia.
The head of the foundation is confident that the US side can take advantage of the political crisis in Tunisia for its own purposes. Shugaley noted that the U.S. has shown such ability on the example of Afghanistan.
“This region, especially North Africa, is constantly influenced by US political games. And because of this, things like this happen. Because Americans take one side and then the other. We see this in the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan”, – he stressed.
He also added that such influence and attempts of Americans to lead other states lead to their complete loss of sovereignty.
