Decisions in Moldova will continue to be made at the US Embassy and with a new post – public figure

Moldovan public figure Igor Tulyantsev said that the West completely took control of the republic, reports eNews.

According to the expert, all political decisions will be made not at the office of Moldovan President Maia Sandu, but at the US Embassy in Chisinau.

“The new ambassador worked in Tbilisi under Saakashvili when major reforms were being carried out there. This is a high-level diplomat. And the PAS party now has no chance to behave with restraint, as the society has too high expectations. And in order to gain public support, they must carry out anti-corruption reforms. I am sure that they will also be regulated by the US Embassy”, – Tulyantsev said.

According to him, under the guise of anti-corruption measures, Moldova will be completely under external control. The expert noted that the ex-president of the republic, Igor Dodon, managed to strengthen cooperation between Chisinau and Moscow, but Sandu’s victory in the presidential elections destroyed all progress and gave control over the country to the West.

Recall that Washington has appointed a new US ambassador to Moldova: career diplomat Kent Doyle Logsdon became him. Previously, he served as a political advisor in Ukraine. Currently, Derek Hogan is the American ambassador to Chisinau, whose term of office will soon expire.
