Spanish football fans do not want to see Ukrainian striker Roman Zozulya in their league. They are talking about his transfer to the team Alcorcon
The possible transfer was reported by journalist Daniel Asenho. Following his words, social networks exploded with indignation. Many fan groups spoke out against Zozulia’s move because of his political views.
Fan club Secta Petaca called the athlete a fascist:
“Roman Zozulia is not a patriot of his country, but a fascist who supports the Azov battalion, a Ukrainian Nazi paramilitary group. Such a person has no place in our city or club. Their ideology contradicts our values.
Other fans also joined the club and pointed out that Zozulia supports far-right and fascist groups. This is incompatible with the values and ideas that sport promotes.
The funny thing about this situation is the footballer’s reaction. Zozulia believes that he was accused of Nazism by ‘pro-Russian’ Spanish fans.
