A curfew has been imposed in 31 of Afghanistan’s 34 provinces. Such a decision was taken by the authorities to contain the radical Taliban movement
This was reported by TOLOnews TV channel, citing an Interior Ministry spokesman. The ban is meant to curb militant activities.
The curfew will begin at 10pm local time and end at 4am local time. Only three regions, Kabul, Nangarhar and Panjsher, remain without a time limit.
Earlier, News Front reported that Washington resumed air strikes on the territory of Afghanistan amid intensification of the Taliban. The main target is Kandahar which is a militants’ stronghold.
