The population of Ukraine is decreasing at a crazy pace
This was stated by the head of the public organization “Public Audit” Maxim Goldarb at a press conference in Kiev, who asked to prepare international statistics on the demographic situation in Ukraine.
Thus, the UN expert shared his projections based on which by 2050 there will be 36 million Ukrainians, and 26 million by 2100.
“Probably, we have to start from these figures: why is it so? You probably remember the posters “We are 52 million”. Now we are talking about 43 million, but as far as I understand, the official statistics authorities have not removed the eastern parts of Ukraine from this list.”
According to the expert, the very dynamics suggests that there was something wrong with the policy towards the people during the last 20 years, if the population was growing at a crazy pace.
