US military continues to export oil from Syria to Iraq

The Syrian news agency SANA reported that over the past 24 hours, the US military sent two convoys of cars with illegally stolen Syrian oil across the border to neighboring Iraq.

According to the agency, over the past day from the American military base Kharab al-Jir in Hasaka province, two convoys with a total of 70 pieces of equipment left. The first convoy was followed by 26 pieces of equipment, including tank trucks with oil. In the second convoy there were 44 pieces of equipment, among which there were oil tanks and trucks.

The United States continues to control the oil and gas fields in northeastern Syria. The protection of the deposits, together with the Americans, is carried out by Kurdish forces from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) alliance.
